Waimea + Maui - United in Aloha: A Day of Lokahi Event

Hawaiʻi Island United Way collaborates with Parker Ranch Center for Waimea + Maui - United in Aloha: A Day of Lōkahi Event.

Hilo, Hawaii, July 26, 2024 –Hawaiʻi Island United Way (HUIW) and Parker Ranch Center are joining together to offer continuous support and unite the community as we approach the first anniversary of the devasting Maui wildfires. "Waimea + Maui - United in Aloha: A Day of Lōkahi"; is a touching community event to show support for those impacted by the Maui Wildfires.

From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., HIUW and its partners will accept donations, offer community resources, and provide activities for children. In the evening, there will be musical performances free to the public from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. featuring local talents. The lineup includes Maka Gallinger at 5 p.m., Sebrina Barron at 5:30 p.m., and Kalaʻe & Kalenaku Parish at 6 p.m. Please join us in support of our friends and neighbors on Maui.
