Miami-bred and and now Hawai’i-based, Barbie is the Principal of Studio Palomino.  Armed with a business degree and searching for career love, she hoarded dog-eared issues of shelter magazines for years before falling for Interior Design. Her not-so-secret love affair with beautiful furnishings and objects eventually led her West for professional training to bolster her natural talents. It was there she developed a unique high-low aesthetic enabling her to devise spaces that are eclectic, approachable, and visually appealing.

Before moving to the Island of Hawai’i in 2020, Barbie and her team completed dozens of renovating and decorating projects in California. Today, Studio Palomino juggles luxury projects that run the gamut from minimalist contemporary to idiosyncratic flash, always staying true to the client’s individual style and personality.
