    June 29, 2026
KAMUELA, HI –– Queen’s North Hawai’i Community Hospital has announced the launch of its new Stroke Support Group, a bimonthly gathering designed to help stroke survivors and their caregivers navigate recovery with confidence, connection, and expert guidance.

Meetings will include open discussions, education, practical tools for managing life after a stroke, and guest speakers. Recovering from a stroke is not just a medical journey — it’s an emotional and social one. This support group ensures survivors and caregivers never feel alone as they rebuild strength and independence.

Meetings are facilitated by Amy Shipley, Speech-Language Pathologist, QNHCH Rehabilitation Services Department. The first meeting will be held on Tuesday, July 21, 5-6 pm, in the Mauna Kea-Mauna Loa conference room at Queen's North Hawai'i Community Hospital.

Sessions are free and open to the public; no sign-up is required.
