• Queen’s North Hawai’i Community Hospital Welcomes New Provider to its Women’s Center

    KAMUELA, HI – Queen’s North Hawai’i Community Hospital is pleased to welcome Jon “Sione” Hathaway, MD, PhD, FACOG, FACS, to its Women’s Center.

    Dr. Hathaway received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Brigham Young University College of Physical and Mathematical Sciences and his medical degree and PhD from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. He completed an obstetrics and gynecology residency at Sparrow Hospital, Michigan State University, and a general surgery and urology internship at Albany Medical Center (NY).

    Dr. Hathaway is board-certified with focused practice designation in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery from the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

    Dr. Hathaway brings over 20 years of experience as an OB-GYN working at Indiana University
    Hospital. He is a professor of clinical obstetrics and gynecology at Indiana University School of
    Medicine and also conducts regular visits to the LBJ Tropical Medical Center in American Samoa
    to teach and perform gynecological surgery.

    In his free time, he enjoys running, triathlons, scuba diving, and surfing.
