QNHCH Welcomes New Pediatrician Daisy Cortes
KAMUELA, HI – Pediatrician Daisy Cortes, MD, has joined the team at Queen’s North Hawai’i Community Hospital. Dr. Cortes earned her medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine, completed her residency in pediatrics at Children’s Hospital of Orange County, and completed a fellowship in pediatric oncology and hematology at UC Irvine-CHOC. Dr. Cortes is a board-certified general pediatrician with numerous years of experience in both general pediatrics as well as pediatric hematology and oncology, practicing in both California and Nevada.
Dr. Cortes is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Society of Hematology, the International Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis, and the American Society
of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology.
