• Planning & Public Works New Electronic Processing and Inspection Center July 29, 2021

    July 26, 2021
The County of Hawaii's Planning and Public Works Departments will be implementing a new Electronic Processing and Inspection Center - EPIC powered by EnerGov - to better serve YOU!

Using the EPIC system, you will be able to submit plan applications to both departments online, track and manage your applications, and even pay your permit fees.

The EPIC system will allow for multiple approving agencies to review the plans concurrently. And once a building permit is issued, contractors will be able to request inspections and view the results of the inspections online.

As part of their efforts for unveiling the new EPIC System, the Planning Department and Department of Public Works Building will remain open, but will not be accepting new applications, from July 16th through July 28th as they transfer records into the EPIC system.
