    Palamanui Culinary!

    The students have been developing their culinary skills this semester creating regional European and American Cuisines. In the bakeshop, the students are working on plated desserts for their prix fixe menu projects. Unfortunately, at this time we are not open to the public, due to the COVID virus.
    We are not ready to throw in the towel, and the show must go on! 
    In an effort to deliver café service and provide our students and guests a taste of the world, we will be offering a limited to-go pick up menu weekly.

    Thank you for supporting the Culinary program at Pālamanui and helping our students to practice their culinary skills. 

    Example of available items the students are serving up

    • Hummus Vegetable Olive Wrap with Mustard Vinaigrette featuring Waimea lettuce, oven dried tomatoes, cucumber, feta cheese and grilled zucchini for $7.

    • Lasagna featuring beef meat sauce, layered with housemade ricotta cheese, herb and mozzarella cheese served with garlic bread and side salad for $9.

    • Palamanui Chili featuring Kulana ground beef, kidney and pinto beans, tomato and spices with rice, garnished with green onion, crispy tortilla chips and cheese for $7.

    • Palamanui Baked Kalbi Chicken featuring marinated chicken thighs, baked and served with hapa rice and Asian cabbage slaw for $10.

    Available from the bakery are eight chocolate chip cookies for $5. Water is available for $1.

    Donations are welcome and benefit the Culinary Arts Programs by providing equipment, supplies and culinary education for the program. Checks should be made out to University of Hawaii Foundation, acct# 127-1260-2 ACF KKCA.
