• New Hospital Summer Volunteer Program

    KAMUELA, HI – Queen’s North Hawai’i Community Hospital has announced a new summer volunteer program designed for high school and college students who are looking for a meaningful way to spend the summer or who may interested in a career in health care.

    The summer volunteer program is open to high school students 16 years and up as well as college students. Students volunteer for five weeks during the summer (July 5 – August 5), three shifts per week, (4 – 7 hours per shift). All training is provided. Available assignments include lobby screening, patient escorting, comfort rounding, as well as work in the hospital’s outpatient clinics, supply department, nutritional services, and even gardening!
