German native Johannes Seidel founded Carbon Buddy after discovering visitors are interested in offsetting their carbon emissions from traveling. “Carbon Buddy is your friend to tackle climate change,” he says. He invited KKCC attendees to “become a climate hero” and calculate, reduce and mitigate your personal, business or event carbon emissions. “Once you know your role, you can take action to reduce and offset it,” Seidel says.
