Naya Nguyen Promoted to Operations Manager for the Kona-Kohala Chamber
September 05, 2025KAILUA-KONA, Hawaiʻi (September 5, 2025) – The Kona-Kohala Chamber of Commerce (KKCC) is proud to announce the promotion of Naya Nguyen to Operations Manager. In this leadership role, Nguyen ensures the smooth and professional execution of Chamber operations, events, and member account services. She oversees office systems, manages events and member onboarding, and leads select programs that strengthen the Chamber’s mission and impact.
Nguyen first joined the Chamber as Event Coordinator in January 2025, where she quickly distinguished herself through the successful execution of KKCC’s signature events, including the Governor’s Luncheon, Mayor’s Luncheon, and annual Golf Tournament. She also contributed to the Chamber’s Living & Design Home Expo, Kuleana Green Business Expo, Health & Wellness Expo, and the popular monthly AfterHours Networking Events.
A graduate of the University of San Francisco, Nguyen earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing, graduating magna cum laude. She also completed a minor in Media Studies and was recognized as a Getty Scholar through the Honors College and the McLaren School of Management Honors Program.
Originally from Hilo, Hawaiʻi, Naya brings a perspective deeply rooted in the island’s community, enriching her work with a strong connection to the people and businesses of Hawaiʻi Island.
