• More Than a Day on the Green: The Hawai‘i Team Golf Fundraiser Brings Golf, Community and Giving Together

    October 12, 2026
KONA, HAWAI‘I — On Saturday, November 28, golfers will gather at Mauna Lani Golf Club’s North Course for a day that is about more than birdies, drives, and friendly competition.

The Hawai‘i Team is hosting its 2026 Golf Fundraiser, bringing together golfers, local businesses, sponsors, friends, and members of the community for an event centered around one shared purpose: giving back to Hawai‘i Island.

Set along the Kohala Coast, the event will combine a full day of golf with food, prizes, community connections, and opportunities to support two local organizations — Autism Moms of Kona and Full Life Hawai‘i.

The event is expected to welcome between 72 and 144 players, creating an opportunity for the local community to come together while raising funds for organizations serving people and families across Hawai‘i Island.

A Day of Golf With a Greater Purpose
The tournament will follow a four-person scramble format, making the event approachable for golfers looking to enjoy a competitive but social day on the course.

Players will receive green fees and a golf cart and will have the opportunity to participate in tournament contests throughout the day. Following the golf, participants can gather for a full catered lunch and awards reception, creating time to celebrate the day's accomplishments and connect with fellow players, local businesses, and community supporters.

Guests can also look forward to swag bags, a silent auction, prizes and giveaways, adding another layer of excitement to the event.

For The Hawai‘i Team, however, the real value of the tournament extends beyond what happens on the course.

It is an opportunity to use a day of golf to create a meaningful impact in the community.

Supporting Organizations That Serve Hawai‘i Island
The 2026 fundraiser will support Autism Moms of Kona and Full Life Hawai‘i.

By bringing golfers and sponsors together, the event provides an avenue for local businesses and individuals to contribute to organizations doing work within the Big Island community.

Sponsorship opportunities are available for businesses that want to be part of the event in a larger way.

Sponsorship levels include Presenting Sponsor, Corporate Sponsor, Lunch Sponsor, Radio Sponsor, Hole Sponsor, and several contest sponsorship opportunities, subject to availability.

Sponsors can receive recognition throughout the event and through event-related marketing, depending on the sponsorship level selected.

For local businesses, the fundraiser offers more than visibility. It creates an opportunity to stand alongside other members of the community and support causes that directly benefit Hawai‘i Island.

Golf, Food, Fun and Community Connections
While the charitable mission is at the heart of the event, the tournament is also designed to be a memorable experience for everyone involved.

Players can expect a day filled with golf, competition and camaraderie, followed by opportunities to celebrate with fellow participants.

From the first tee to the awards reception, the event will bring together people from different parts of the community — including golfers, business owners, sponsors, supporters, and friends of The Hawai‘i Team.

The combination of championship golf, a catered lunch, tournament contests, an awards reception, swag bags, a silent auction, prizes and giveaways is designed to make the fundraiser an experience people will want to be part of year after year.

And ultimately, every registration, sponsorship, and contribution helps turn that experience into something bigger than a single day on the golf course.

Be Part of the 2026 Golf Fundraiser
Whether you're an avid golfer, a local business looking for a meaningful way to support the community, or someone who simply wants to spend a day surrounded by great people and a great cause, The Hawai‘i Team's Golf Fundraiser offers several ways to participate.

Golfers can register to play, while businesses and organizations can explore available sponsorship opportunities. Community members can also participate through the event's silent auction, prizes, giveaways, and other opportunities to support the fundraiser.
