It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas at Kona Commons! The shopping center is transforming into a merry island wonderland, where twinkling lights, festive music, and even a little snowfall bring the spirit of the holidays to life. Shoppers and families are invited to celebrate the season with a lineup of cheerful events sure to make spirits bright.
Kona Commons’ sparkling new 14-foot holiday tree will make its grand debut on November 28, officially kicking off the season of joy and giving. The dazzling display, located in front of Jeans Warehouse, will set the stage for a month of magical festivities:
• December 1–24: Experience nightly snowfall — yes, snow in Kona! — for a touch of winter wonder under the island sky. Snowfall will take place every half hour between 6 and 8 p.m. nightly.
• December 15, 5–6 p.m.: Enjoy festive melodies as the Kona Choral Society fills the air with the sounds of the season.
• December 13 and 20, noon to 3 p.m.: Be on the lookout for costumed characters parading through the center, greeting shoppers, and spreading holiday cheer.
