KAILUA-KONA, Hawaiʻi — Kona Coffee & Tea is proud to announce its inaugural Plantation Days Farm Dinner, an immersive evening celebrating Hawaiʻi's rich plantation history, local agriculture, and the diverse cultures that helped shape the islands. The special event will take place on Saturday, August 15, 2026, from 6:00–9:00 p.m. at the Kona Coffee & Tea Farm in Holualoa.
Set in a tranquil space among the coffee trees on the working farm where Kona Coffee & Tea has been growing and roasting 100% Kona coffee since 1998, the evening will bring together local food, storytelling, and community for a one-of-a-kind dining experience.
Guests will enjoy a thoughtfully curated multi-course dinner prepared by acclaimed Big Island chef Jessica Miller, whose passion for fresh, locally sourced ingredients aligns perfectly with Kona Coffee & Tea's commitment to supporting Hawaiʻi farmers and showcasing the island's abundance. The menu will feature ingredients harvested directly from the Kona Coffee & Tea farm alongside products from local farmers and producers, highlighting the journey from farm to table.
Adding to the evening's experience is Hawaiʻi personality Lanai Tabura, who will serve as host. Known statewide as an entrepreneur, comedian, actor, radio personality, and storyteller, Tabura will guide guests through an evening celebrating the traditions, people, and cultural influences that continue to shape Hawaiʻi's food and agricultural landscape.
More than a dinner, the Plantation Days Farm Dinner is designed as an opportunity to reconnect with the land and the stories behind every meal.

Throughout the evening, guests will dine among the coffee trees while experiencing the beauty of Kona Coffee & Tea's agroforestry farm, where coffee grows alongside cacao, tropical fruits, herbs, native plants, and other seasonal crops. The event reflects the farm's ongoing commitment to regenerative agriculture, sustainability, and community education.
The Plantation Days Farm Dinner marks the first of what Kona Coffee & Tea hopes will become an annual tradition celebrating local food, local farmers, and the shared stories that connect Hawaiʻi's communities through agriculture.
