Kailua Village Business Improvement District Announces Dates for 2023 Signature Monthly Stroll on Alii Drive
Historic Kailua Village, Kona, HI ~ The Kailua Village Business Improvement District has announced 2023 dates for its signature monthly stroll, Kokua Kailua happening in Historic Kailua Village.
Kokua Kailua, the popular monthly village stroll on Alii Drive, happens one Sunday each month from 1 pm to 6 pm. Kona’s Historic Kailua Village closes to vehicular traffic and becomes a festive, pedestrian-only outdoor marketplace that makes for a fun family-friendly day. Leashed dogs are welcome to stroll too.
Kokua Kailua stretches from Kailua Pier through Historic Kailua Village to Hualalai Road. Highlights include nearly 100 vendor booths showcasing the work of local artisans and crafters, musicians, and merchants offering a fantastic shopping experience and delicious dining options.
2023 Kokua Kailua dates are January 15, February 19, March 19, April 16, May 21, June 11 (Kamehameha Day weekend), July 16, August 21, September 17, October 22, November 19 and December 10 (Kailua Kalikimaka).
