    About Humanity Hale
At Humanity Hale, we all have a part to play in creating the world we envision. The compassion and empathy we share is the driving force of our organization, and we excel when we are committed to seeing the humanity in everyone. By providing foster and at-promise youth with life enhancing programs, we create a pathway that will continue building promising futures in our community by providing free education, arts & culture, life skills programs and 24/7 trauma support.

Since our establishment, we have worked to achieve three primary goals:

•Create a safe space (i.e. permanent supportive housing and Humanity Hale Community Center) for our youth to heal and learn to become healthy, kind, contributing members of society.

•End the cycles of trauma in our community so that our future generations can thrive.

•See the numbers of substance & domestic abuse decrease exponentially as a means of reducing the likelihood of youth entering into foster care.

The next step in Humanity Hale's mission, is to build a group foster home, housing for youth aging out of foster care and creating our community center.

“With proper care and social support, especially throughout our community center and housing program, which will be specifically designed to rehabilitate trauma, our youth can be given the tools to overcome these negative effects, experience an improved quality of life, and move toward healing.”

We appreciate the support of our Big Island community in cultivating the change we wish to see in this magical place we get to call our home. "Our wounds are probably not our fault, but our healing is our own responsibility." Mahalo nui for joining us on the journey towards healing and happiness for the future generations of Hawai'i Nei.
