Hospital foundation receives $4K donation
The Hawaii Chapter of the American Resort Development Association recently donated $4,000 to the Kona Hospital Foundation. The Foundation will use the funds to help purchase a CEIA handheld detection wand to ensure a safe MRI environment.
The Kona Hospital Foundation is dedicated to improving Kona Community Hospital needs for the entire Hawaii Island community.
The foundation works to fund medical technology, expand services, and enhance facilities that would otherwise be unavailable.
ARDA-Hawaii is the local chapter of the American Resort Development Association, the national timeshare trade association. Hawaii’s timeshare units account for 13% of the state’s visitor lodging inventory and thousands of jobs. The organization is committed to supporting the communities in which its resorts are located through organized events, monetary and in-kind donations, and volunteerism.
