• Hawaiian Telcom Supports Hawaii Island United Way's Mission with $22,230 Donation

    Hawaiian Telcom and its team made a generous donation of $22,230 to Hawai‘i Island United Way (HIUW) as a part of their annual campaign for 2023-2024. This donation was made possible by employee contributions, special events, and corporate gifts, all of which highlight Hawaiian Telcom's commitment to helping the communities of Hawai‘i Island where its employees live and work.

    Through HIUW's Annual Campaign, Hawaiian Telcom employees can donate to any 501(c)(3) organization through payroll, cash, checks, or credit cards, allowing employees to choose where their money will make the most impact.

    “Our employees share a commitment to uplift our communities through service and are dedicated to helping people, businesses and nonprofit organizations, like United Way, make their greatest impact,” said Hawaiian Telcom President and Aloha United Way Board Member Su Shin.

    “Hawaiian Telcom has remained a generous donor to Hawai‘i Island United Way’s mission to unite people, organizations, and resources to strengthen our community. We appreciate their continued support as we work together to resolve ongoing challenges on our island and make a positive impact for those who are most in need” said Karen Davis, HIUW President.
