    Hawai’i Keiki Museum Workday Party

    Our motivated team of local entrepreneurs, artists, engineers and makers are building a children’s science discovery center that will welcome children of all ages and abilities to have science learning experiences at the Kona International Marketplace this fall. 
     
     
    Join us on Saturday July 23rd or Sunday July 24th from 8am to noon to help us build out the space. There are lots of toys and games to play with, and kids of all ages are welcome. Maybe you can cut wood, paint, or install flooring? This is a great way you can help us to increase STEM opportunities for our keiki.

    Are you a local craftsperson? I am looking for vendors for the gift shop. in particular, I’d love to sell a hawaiian chess set. can you make some?

    Did you like the wire-frame walkthrough? Trimble has discontinued support for the version I was using. Consider helping us with an annual subscription to the software that made those 3D models possible. It costs $55 / year.

    Right now we are using Apple’s iMovie to edit our videos. Maybe you are the one who can upgrade us to Adobe Premier. It costs $80/month for a business license.,

    Might you be an author or writer? Our goal to make this an “open source” museum needs a blog writer to keep up with our progress and developments. Please don’t be shy if this is something you’d like to do. Let us know.

    Is it possible that there is such a thing as a unified social media dashboard? One system that I can log into to respond to all the comments (good and bad) from users on Facebook, Twitter, Yelp, LinkedIn, Trip Advisor, Google Business, and YouTube? Is there something that doesn’t cost $800/month?
