Grand Welcome Kona recently announced Katharina Findlay as the newly appointed Business Development Manager to their local team. Originally from Germany, Katharina relocated to Hawaii after graduating with a master in international Hotel; Tourism Management. She has been on the island for over 13 years and is proud to call Kona “home”.
I’m most excited about using my extensive experience to help grow this industry within the Hawaiian market and for the support of an already successful team,” Findlay expressed when asked about what drew her to Grand Welcome.
The company is looking forward to rapid growth in the state as they continue to build their presence in the area and add more beautiful Kona properties to their current inventory.
According to a recent article in Condé Nast Traveler, travel restrictions to the Island are expected to lift as both travel quarantine requirements and the Safe Travels program will end starting on March 26, 2022. This means there will be no COVID-19 vaccination or testing requirements for domestic arrivals after that date.
This is great news for Grand Welcome and for local Kona homeowners who look to earn additional income on their investment properties by listing their homes with the company.
