• Goodfellow Bros. Hawaii Division Closes out 2021 with Zero OSHA Recordable Injuries

    February 28, 2022
It is with great pride to share that the Goodfellow Bros. Hawaii Division reported zero OSHA recordable injuries in 2021.

The Recordable Incident Rate (RIR) is a mathematical calculation used by OSHA to define the number of employees per 100 full-time employees who have been involved in an OSHA recordable injury or illness.

“This achievement is a testament to our Hawaii Division’s outstanding commitment to safety and their ability to adapt to an ever-changing environment and keeping our team safe,” said Ed Brown, Hawaii division president for GBI. “It is a team effort where we have to work together to ensure that everyone goes home safely without injury. Our Hawaii teams have proven that achieving zero OHSA recordables is attainable, and we are committed to taking ownership for safety and continuing to make improvements to stay on top of the best safety practices in the industry.”
