Join Keauhou Shopping Center for Community Day!

Keauhou Shopping Center is partnering with Kamehameha Schools, County of Hawai’i, and Miss Hawaii Island, Shyla Victor for a day of malama ʻāina activities.

Activities for the Day
Mālama ʻĀina Activities at Keauhou Bay

• 8:00 - 9:00 a.m.: Check-in & Light Refreshments at Sea Quest Hawai‘i
• 9:00 - 9:30 a.m.: Hawaiian Protocol & Welcoming Ceremony
• 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.: Mālama ʻĀina Activities at significant cultural sites, led by the Kamehameha Schools ‘Āina Pauahi group

Pāʻina at Keauhou Shopping Center

• 12:00 - 2:00 p.m.: Community Pāʻina featuring food, live music, a jumping castle, and keiki crafts hosted by KidXClub

Open House at Outrigger Kona Resort & Spa & Tours of ‘Āina Pauahi at Keauhou Bay

• 1:00 - 3:00 p.m.: Open House & Tour led by Kamehameha Schools staff, sharing KS’ vision for Keauhou Bay

Volunteers for the Mālama ʻĀina activities are encouraged to bring reusable water bottles, reef-friendly sunscreen, hats, sunglasses, and work gloves. Cleaning supplies will be provided.

These events on ‘Āina Pauahi reflect Kamehameha Schools’ commitment to ‘āina, culture and community – nurturing connections between people and ʻāina while building community resilience.
