• CHANGE Framework - Hawai‘i Community Foundation

    April 22, 2022
Given your important work in our community, the Hawai‘i Community Foundation (HCF) is inviting you to a virtual, interactive Community Convening to seek your input on the long-term vision and goals for the CHANGE Framework.

HCF will be engaging with community members to create a clear, long-term vision for each of the six sectors of the CHANGE Framework—which span the health of our economy to access to education—one that is based on data and centered around equity.

Please join us for one of the virtual convenings noted below; each of the interactive sessions has the same agenda.
    • Register for Tuesday, May 10, 10 - 11:30 a.m. HST
    • Register for Wednesday, May 25, 1 - 2:30 p.m. HST
    • Register for Wednesday, June 1, 1 - 2:30 p.m. HST
Please note: Registration is limited and closes on Thursday, May 5, 2022.

Through the rest of this year, HCF will dive deeper with community members in each sector of CHANGE. If you are unable to join a virtual convening and are interested in participating in future conversations, please share your contact information here.

You are welcome to send this invite to your staff or close partners who you know are interested in this work.

For background, HCF launched the CHANGE Framework in 2017, identifying six sectors that affect the well-being of Hawaiʻi’s people and places. In 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic took a heavy toll on our communities and sparked the need for increased partnerships and real-time data to support these communities in a time of crisis. In 2021, HCF launched the CHANGE Grants program and learned about the evolving challenges and opportunities of our communities from over 450 nonprofit organizations throughout Hawai‘i. An evaluation of the CHANGE Grants program gathered community input and identified the need to further engage community in CHANGE.
