A director, teaching artist, educator, and creative leader, Jael brings a decade of experience directing and developing theatre and arts education programs. Her directing credits include Seussical, Jr., Alice in Wonderland, Newsies, Jr., The Wizard of Oz, The Three Musketeers, The Addams Family, and Legally Blonde the Musical, Jr., along with original and contemporary works.
Most recently, Jael has worked as a director with Theatre Horizon and Yes, And Collaborative Arts in Pennsylvania, where she has led production teams, directed and managed mainstage productions, and built creative, supportive environments for artists and students. Her extensive work in theatre education includes Wolf Performing Arts Center, The Shipley School, EgoPo Classical Theatre, and The Unscripted Project.
She also brings experience in marketing, social media, content creation, community events, and organizational leadership - a wonderfully well-rounded skill set for the many hats an Artistic Director wears.
And perhaps most fittingly, Jael has directed Mary Poppins. Her experience with the show makes her the perfect person to help Aloha Theatre launch their 2027 season with this beloved musical!
As Artistic Director, Jael will be at the helm of their artistic programming beginning in the 2027 season. In the meantime, she’ll be getting to know staff, artists, volunteers, and community.
