    KAILUA-KONA, HI — The passionate and dedicated fundraising efforts of Hawaii Community Federal Credit Union’s staff and members from its Hilo, Kohala and Honokaa branches brought in $9,702 for American Cancer Society’s Hilo “Relay for Life” event.  The monies were raised through in-branch ribbon sales, internal staff donations and fundraisers, as well as selling shave ice during the live event.  ...read more

    HONOLULU – Gov. David Ige today announced that the state has granted an extension of a key permit to the Thirty Meter Telescope (TMT).
