    HawaiiCon is the Big Island's "comic con," bringing world-class actors, artists, authors and scientists to Hawaii's community and students. Superheroes raising funds to support year-round STEAM education opportunities for island keiki.


    In support of our mission, HawaiiCon also proudly hosts the co-located Pacific-Basin STEAM Teaching Conference and the Science Fiction, Popular Cultures Academic Conference. These conferences bring top practitioners of STEAM education and prominent scholars in the field of science fiction and fantasy together with artists and scientists in media, gaming, comics, and culture?making for an amazing melting pot of thoughtful fandom, dedicated to making the world, and the Big Island of Hawai'i, even better places!
