    University Center at Palamanui to host “Be Your Own Boss” Workshop February 26 KONA

    Do you like the idea of being your own boss? Do you have a business idea? Owning your own business can be rewarding and it can provide a better life for you and your family. If you are considering starting your own business, this workshop is for you! Come and learn the steps to get started and the tools to help you succeed.

    This workshop will be hosted by the University Center West Hawai’i at the Hawai’i Community College-Palamanui campus on Tuesday, February 26 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. in Limuwai 194.
    Marty Kennedy of the West Hawai’i Small Business Development Center in Kailua-Kona will be featured as the presenter of this workshop. Kennedy received her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in 2011 with an emphasis in Human Resources. She has a passion to see Hawaii small Business’ to start, grow, and thrive. Also featured will be Palamaui Accounting Instructor Beth Sanders. Sanders will share business courses available at Palamanui that will provide key knowledge and instruction in advancing your business savvy.
