• Member Spotlight: Hawaii Community Federal Credit Union Receives CUNA Diamond Award

    May 18, 2018
KAILUA-KONA, HI — Through the hard work and efforts of Hawaii Community Federal Credit Union’s board of directors, executive team, marketing department and staff, HCFCU was recently honored with a Diamond Award from the Credit Union National Association (CUNA) Marketing & Business Development Council for HCFCU’s 2017 new website design.  The new design, which includes more interactive information, online applications and is even easier-to-use, is also compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) guidelines.  This means that the website’s content is more accessible to people with disabilities and will offer more text, images and sounds.  The website URL is www.HiCommFCU.com. The CUNA council recognizes outstanding marketing and business development achievements in the credit union industry.

“Our team worked very hard to make our redesigned website attractive, interactive, informative, easy-to-use and an overall positive experience for our members,” said Tricia Buskirk, HCFCU President and CEO.  “This is such a great honor, and we’re all so pleased to have our efforts recognized.”

CUNA is a national network comprised of over 1,300 credit union marketing and business development professionals. Awards are given in 35 categories ranging from advertising to community events and beyond.  Award winners were recognized at the council’s 25th annual conference held March 11-14 in San Francisco, CA.
