    COVID 19 Community Update – May 10, 2021

Vaccines now approved for 12+ years of age:

Today the FDA announced that the Pfizer vaccine has received Emergency Use Authorization for all individuals 12+ years of age and up.

We have hundreds of available slots in our remaining vaccine clinic days. In our wrap up process, we have scaled back vaccine clinic days due to low turnout. However, we still have hundreds of available open appointments both at the KCH campus clinic on May 12th, 21st and 28th, and at the clinic at the Kona Aquatic Center Gym on May 20. Please be aware that May 20 will be our final mass vaccination opportunity at the gym location.
