Coastal Stewardship Specialist – Full Time

Our coastal stewardship specialist is part of a team of paid staff and volunteers responsible for strengthening pilina with ‘āina and kai including human and non-human residents of, and visitors to, Kahalu‘u Bay. The ideal candidate has experience leading ‘āina-based stewardship efforts with community members, has training from respected kumu, kūpuna, and other teachers and elders on relationships including those between ma uka and ma kai, and is a practitioner whose accountability and standards of excellence are guided by ‘āina and kuleana.
