    Queen Liliuokalani Long Distance Canoe RacesThe world’s largest long distance outrigger canoe race, welcomes paddlers from around the world to its starting line for five days of exciting canoe racing starting Thursday, August 30 through Monday, September 3, 2018. The Queen Lili‘uokalani Long Distance Outrigger Canoe Races signature 18-mile long distance race is slated for Saturday, September 1. Kai ‘Opua Canoe Club, one of Hawaii’s oldest outrigger canoe clubs, hosts crews from around the world including Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, Japan, New Zealand, Peru, Tahiti, United Kingdom and Hawaii.
