Applications open for KoCreate: Kohala

KōCreate: Kohala is a six-month, place-based cohort designed to support grassroots ʻāina organizations in Kohala as they build relationships, strengthen capacity, and work together toward shared stewardship goals.

Across Kohala, there are people already doing the work—restoring ʻāina, caring for coastlines and forests, strengthening communities, and carrying generations of ʻike forward. And KōCreate: Kohala was created for those organizations.

This isn't just a cohort. It's an opportunity to build lasting relationships with other grassroots leaders, strengthen your organization's capacity, and help shape a shared vision for Kohala's future. Together, participants will learn from one another, receive mentorship and professional development, and collaborate on a collective funding concept rooted in community priorities—not competition.
