About Our Chamber

The Kona-Kohala Chamber of Commerce is the leading business advocacy organization on the west side of the Big Island of Hawaii. The KKCC is the third largest chamber in the state of Hawaii. Although it’s based in downtown Kailua-Kona, its membership comes from all geographic areas of West Hawaii. Of our over 700 members, 70% are small businesses with 10 or less employees.

MISSION
The mission of the Kona-Kohala Chamber of Commerce is to advocate a successful business environment in West Hawaii.

VISION
The Kona-Kohala Chamber of Commerce will provide leadership for enhancing quality of life, incorporating our unique communities, cultures and resources.

MEMBERSHIP
Membership is open to all individuals and businesses that maintain a voluntary annual dues investment. Benefits of membership include networking opportunities, community involvement, political advocacy, information access, discounts and benefits, image enhancement and heightened credibility.

STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES
The KKCC focus is to:

ORGANIZATION
The KKCC is an organization of business leaders who work to improve their community, the area’s business climate and enhance the environment, unique lifestyle and quality of life in West Hawaii through sound growth policies and proper planning. A volunteer Board of Directors governs the Chamber. The effectiveness of the Chamber is dependent on member support and involvement. A professional staff of four runs the day to day operations.
