The foundation of most Kona-Kohala Chamber of Commerce activities is to provide networking opportunities, training, and education for our member businesses.
Meetings and Luncheons
Focus Luncheons feature speakers from the business community and government on topics of interest to the Chamber membership and the community at large. KKCC’s Annual Meeting and Awards Luncheon in June focuses on conducting annual chamber business: new officers and the board of directors are installed and West Hawaii recipients of the annual Hawaii Small Business Administration (SBA) Awards are recognized.
Each month, the Chamber updates its members on local business issues, Chamber activities and new services in the community through the Connections Newsletter. The newsletter is available online.
AfterHours Mixers
AfterHours Mixers, hosted monthly by member businesses throughout West Hawaii, focus on networking, enjoying great food and meeting other members of the business community.
Annual Events
The Chamber’s annual expo features more than 60 exhibitors in the local home industry. This event brings together Chamber businesses with the community for a weekend of home improvement and building ideas.
Formally known as the Coral Reef Awareness & Earth Day Fair, The Earth Day Fair is a community based program featuring over 60 booths and activities that showcase environmental and recycling programs, coastal restoration projects, ocean literacy, energy awareness and conservation, cultural activities and sustainable living ideas.
The Annual Golf Tournament provides lively competition, great prizes and a chance for participants to mingle at the festive awards ceremony.
